FirstElement Inc. is a Japan-based software company deeply rooted in the WordPress ecosystem. Since adopting WordPress for website development in 2005, we have worked on a wide range of sites—and in 2008, that experience led us to release our search plugin, FE Advanced Search. Today, it has been adopted by 1,300+ organizations in Japan, including companies, educational institutions, and sole proprietors. Users value its intuitive interface, which lets you build advanced search forms without writing code, as well as its flexible functionality that can support a broad range of search needs.

Our Founder & CEO, Daijiro Miyazawa, is also a WordPress Core Contributor. Inspired by the possibilities of WordPress, he actively participates in the community beyond business—supporting official WordPress events and organizing study groups and meetups. This deep commitment to WordPress is also what shaped our product philosophy: a strong emphasis on long-term customer support.

In recent years, we have also been focusing on AI (LLM) and RAG-based application development. As new technologies emerge, the functions and roles expected of WordPress continue to evolve.
